Choosing the right tripod

Everyone loves to photograph a beautiful scene and with modern cameras getting a fine picture is no problem, especially on bright days.

On dull days or when the light levels are low, shutter speeds are much slower and there is the risk of blurred pictures caused by camera shake.

Mounting the camera on a tripod will help avoid any problems. However, using a tripod will also improve your pictures because it slows down the process and makes you take more considered photographs.

Jessops stocks a wide range of tripods from leading manufacturers including Giottos, Manfrotto and Velbon. The important thing is to buy one that is solid but light enough to be carried around.
